I never write reviews, but my experience with the Oxford Medical Center was unacceptable. I have never encountered such inconsideration for a sick patient in my life. This morning my mother and brother went in as sick patients and were diagnosed with bronchitis. My appointment was later afternoon before treating me I had to settle a dispute about a bill that my insurance didn't pay because the medical center recorded my birthdate wrong. After settling the misunderstanding the medical center denied treating me because the next patients had arrived. Well, if I recall I had an appointment as well and I had even showed up early... it wasn't my fault that the bill was submitted wrong and it took some time to figure that out... so why should I be turned away? Normally I wouldn't mind coming back to be treated, but I have a newborn at home. When I expressed my worry not for me, but for my four week old baby who could potential catch the bronchitis if I wasn't treated they showed no remorse. I just can't comprehend how a sick patient is turned away when I had a scheduled appointment in the first place let alone a sick patient with a newborn with a weaker immune system where a slight cold is a huge deal let alone bronchitis. They also didn't have any open appointments for two days. The office is very unaccommodating and does not may attention to detail. I will not be returning, ever.
