This review is specifically in regards to realtor Ed Campbell who works in this office. Truly the only good thing I can say about Ed is that if you send him an email, he typically responds within minutes. Actually, my husband and I took that responsiveness as a good sign when we first started working with Ed - everyone wants to work with someone who is quick to respond and appears to really be working for you. Unfortunately, other than that, Ed is the worst realtor we have ever dealt with (and we have had the pleasure of working with 6 different realtors over the years). He outright lied to us several times during the process, convinced us to spend money on things that we shouldn't have, and it got to the point where he completely stopped doing his job. My husband was the one who was calling the listing/seller's agent and getting updates on the house we were attempting to buy, and Ed would send my husband emails asking him for those updates! There is something wrong with that picture. At first Ed blamed his inability to answer our questions/help with our requests on the selling agent - saying the selling agent didn't have any information or wasn't getting back to him, etc. Too bad every time we called the selling agent he was quick to call us back and extremely helpful. Something I found funny was the very first time we talked to the selling agent he told us that he never reads his emails; that he doesn't know how to use email so he has to have his secretary print out all his emails for him every afternoon. He told us if we wanted to get in touch with him to just call. So, after that call, every time we wanted an update on the house, or had a form we needed to have signed by the seller for our lender, we would ask Ed to please CALL the selling agent. For whatever reason, Ed would never call the guy. Instead, he would send the selling agents emails and then blame the guy for not emailing him back for 2+ weeks. And when we would confront Ed about the fact that he wasn't doing a good job for us and that he lied to us about various things, he would just get really defensive and passive aggressive. We really did not need the stress of trying to work with Ed in our lives, and neither do you. So do yourself a favor and pick a realtor who is not Ed.
